What is Story Craft?

Big imaginations, tiny hands

Story Craft is a free drop-in hour for our youngest history-lovers. Every visit, a story comes to life, then little ones dive into a hands-on craft or activity inspired by it. Stories, making, and play, all in one happy morning.

Kids gathered for a story
📚

A story to spark it

We start with a tale that pulls kids into another time and place, then let their imaginations run.

Hands-on craft making
✂️

A craft to make

Hands-on making tied to the story: corn-husk dolls, building, drawing, discovering. Messy is encouraged!

Room to play

Friendly, low-key, and made for ages 4–8. Come as you are, leave with something you made.

Something to discover

Magnifying glasses, real artifacts, and big questions. Little explorers love to look closer.
